Flanking and Movement Routes on Vorkuta
Let’s talk flanking routes. I’ve been analyzing how players move through Vorkuta and I’ve foundbuy bot lobbies bo6 some awesome side paths and shortcuts that are perfect for catching campers and players locking down mid-map.
Most players either push through the Coalyard or rush the Warehouse, but the real key to surprise plays is controlling the outer snowbank paths and the Wreckage flank. That section to the northeast of the map? Hardly anyone watches it consistently. It’s full of jagged metal, broken machinery, and half walls that offer solid cover while staying off the beaten path. If you hug the outer wall and move quietly, you can get behind enemy snipers in the Hub or flank the B flag in Domination without much resistance.
There’s also a lesser-known route underneath the Warehouse. Not many people know this, but if you duck behind some crates and enter the maintenance tunnel, you can come up right under the third-floor ladder access. It’s great for popping up behind campers or resetting control of the middle. I run Dead Silence when going through there, and it’s almost unfair how often people are clueless to my position.
In terms of loadouts, anything with mobility is king for flankers here. I run the Phantom build with a silenced SMG, Ghost, and Tracker, and I can weave through the map like a ghost. With the storm effects, people are even less likely to spot you unless you make noise or step into obvious sightlines.
Also, movement tech matters here. Bunny hopping out of the Wreckage to challenge someone in the open Coalyard is a high-risk, high-reward play I’ve been trying. Works best when the enemy is distracted by your teammates or storm vision is kicking in.
Overall, I think Vorkuta rewards smart flanking more than most of the launch maps. So if you’re tired of getting beamed crossing mid, try hitting the sides. You’ll surprise people every time.
